Charles Hoskinson described comments on the Cardano testnet as “FUD”.
Hoskinson took to Twitter to address rumors that the Cardano testnet was “catastrophically down”.
Charles Hoskinson Targets Influencers
The Cardano founder stated that information about the testnet was spread widely by social media influencers.
Hoskinson cited a TikTok phenomenon with 600,000 followers as an example. In the video he took, this person stated that he lost his trust in the Cardano blockchain, while claiming that the chain had nothing to show.
The consequences of headlines: Shallow information gets propagated by influencers to massive networks of people. Truth gets lost in the land of misinformation. As predicted, catastrophic bug is now paired with ghostchain. It will stick for months https://t.co/4qkIsTUCTq

This person also complained that although the Cardano team had great vision, they did not build anything.
Influencer recently claimed that Solana is “a much more functional blockchain and a much more functional platform than Cardano has ever been.”
Hoskinson claimed that influencers spread rather shallow information to large audiences. According to him, these people have created a “ghost chain” in their own minds that is dragged into disaster.
Hoskinson also highlighted the achievements of the Cardano network this year.
Adam Dean, one of the Cardano developers, announced ten days ago that a bug was detected in the Vasil node 1.35.2, after which there was a great discussion in the Cardano community about the future of the network.
Hoskinson reassured the community on the matter a week ago, saying the Cardano network is stronger than ever.
