Charles Hoskinson stated that the Cardano blockchain is quite special and well thought out in terms of design.

Hoskinson, who has never hesitated to express his thoughts on Cardano and often praises blockchain design, said in a Twitter post on April 3 that the network’s staking model is excellent and well-executed. This comment by Hoskinson comes after the 70 percent increase in the ADA price in the first quarter of 2023. At the time of writing, ADA, which was priced at $0.40 with an increase of 4.04 percent, ranks 7th among the most valuable assets by market value.

Hoskinson Compares Ethereum and Cardano

In his post, Hoskinson compared Cardano and Ethereum and noted the differences between the staking wallets of the two networks.

One of the main differences between Ethereum and Cardano is that Cardano is based on a different architecture. On Cardano, stakers can participate in activities such as initial stake pool offerings (ISPOs) while earning rewards through staking. This surveillance-free nature of ADA staking combined with the first mover advantage makes Cardano stand out in the number of stkaked wallets compared to Ethereum.

According to ADASTAT data, there are over 2,900 stake pool operators as of April 3, 2023, as well as around 1,271,709 delegates.

These statistics, which Hoskinson has regularly cited in recent months, point to the superior community engagement and decentralization of the Cardano network, even after Ethereum’s transition to a proof-of-stake system.
