Celsius CSO and co-founder Daniel Leon has resigned.

Daniel Leon, co-founder and CSO of crypto lending firm Celsius, has resigned. Last week, the company’s CEO, Alex Mashinsky, resigned.

Celsius CSO Resigns

According to the Financial Times!, the company’s CSO Leon resigned. Just a week ago, the CEO of the company, Mashinsky, announced his resignation.

As will be remembered, the company filed for bankruptcy in July. The company is facing investigation by an investigator appointed by the US authorities and authorized by the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Authorities and some Celsius creditors claimed that the company failed to make an effort regarding its financial condition. The investigation aims to investigate these allegations. Additionally, the Financial Times noted that Mashinsky, who went bankrupt last week, withdrew nearly $10 million from the company in May, weeks before Celsius stopped withdrawals.
