The Shiba Inu community remained confused after Bigger Entertainment announced on April 1, 2022 that it would no longer burn the SHIB without providing further details. The owner of Bigger Entertainment recently clarified on this matter and explained why he did not want to take part in the SHIB burn. Here are the details…
Why did Bigger Entertainment decide to leave the SHIB burn?
Since the company made the announcement, many SHIB enthusiasts have been wondering what led to the sad development. According to a report by the International Business Times (IB Times), Bigger Entertainment owner Steven Cooper has spearheaded several Shiba Inu cremation campaigns, revealing why he and his firm decided to abandon the SHIB cremation process.
Speaking to the IB Times, Cooper stated that the Shiba Inu development team chose to stop the “SHIB burning party” due to a lack of transparency. According to Cooper, he received an invite to a Discord group by the fast food chain team of Shiba Inu and Italian-based Wellys to create in-store playlists for the Naples-based restaurant. However, during the Discord call, Cooper noted that participants, including people from Welly’s and Shiba Inu, used avatars and nicknames, suggesting they were hiding their identities.
“Discord conversation didn’t go well”
The meeting didn’t go well, according to Cooper. Cooper claimed he faced “too much hostility and “mafia-style” tactics, and was told that he “shared too many questions in front of everyone” and that he “was humiliated with the Shib.” “This is all coming from the 20-something teenagers behind the avatars,” Cooper said. It’s unclear whether Shiba Inu’s pseudonymous lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, is in the conversation. Cooper added the following statements:
Many issues of interest to us were raised during this call. How much Bone was monetized from Shibaswap, where the burns went etc. freely told to us. As
Kriptokoin.com, Cooper and his company began SHIB burnings in October last year, kicking off the burning trend within the Shiba Inu community. Shib burning is a way to reduce the supply and raise the price of the coin.
