While Samsung has suspended smartphone shipments to Russia, Russian luxury smartphone brand Caviar is selling the new custom-made Galaxy Z Fold 4 to customers around the world as long as they can spend more than $12,000. Caviar has announced a limited edition of 4 Galaxy Z Fold 4 models made with exotic materials such as titanium, leather, gold and even meteorite.
The ambitious smartphone brand has announced that it has launched 99 Black Rain Edition copies and 99 Solar Eclipse variants, as well as 29 Canyon Diablo Galaxy Z Fold 4 and 29 Golden Meteor Z Fold 4 models. Hardware-wise they are all the same and come with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.
Here Are The Galaxy Z Fold 4 Variants That Few Can Buy
The differences between these limited-edition Galaxy Z Fold 4 models lie in the exterior design, the materials used, and the flashy descriptions added to each model. Take the Black Rain Galaxy Z Fold 4 variant for example. Featuring calfskin inserts and titanium decorations interspersed on a titanium body, this model is designed for “true warrior men and individuals with an inflexible will,” according to Caviar’s description. Caviar says that only 99 of this model were produced, and each sold for $9,610.
Another limited edition model is the Solar Eclipse model with 24K gold inserts and titanium. Its price is 9 thousand 700 dollars. There’s also the Canyon Diablo model with titanium and meteorite attachments and particles. This model retails for $10,830. As the latest model, Caviar also sells 29 copies of the Z Fold 4 Golden Meteor model, which includes jewel alloy, meteorite particles and 24-carat gold-plated bezels.
Meanwhile, fans of regular foldable smartphones who don’t mind Caviar’s eccentric designs can now pre-order the standard Galaxy Z Fold 4 directly from Samsung for “only” $1,799 and above. (Must be cheap after Caviar.) The standard phone is covered with Gorilla Glass Victus+ and is available in a range of colors including Grey Green, Beige and Phantom Black.
