IOHK, developer of the Cardano ecosystem, has announced a successful hardfork of the testnet, an important step towards mainnet upgrade.
While verifying the testnet hardfork, the team invited Cardano’s stake pool operators (SPO), developers, and exchanges to initiate the final testing and integration process.
According to the tweets shared by the team, Vasil hardfork’s complex work schedule will require projects to check backward compatibility and SPOs to make some script adjustments.
Additionally, the testnet hardfork will be monitored over a four-week period. This follow-up period will give SPOs, developers, and cryptocurrency exchanges ample time to test and update before launching the hardfork on the Cardano mainnet.
