Capcom, which re-created the brand with Resident Evil: Biohazard, managed to tell the old stories of the series in a modern way with Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 3 Remake, which it published in the following years. In this process, the company, which brought the brand to its former popularity, announced that we will have more remakes.

Resident Evil brand is growing

Resident Evil 4: Remake, released in recent months, managed to become one of the most successful games of the year. Satisfied with the success of RE 2, 3 and 4, Capcom announced that new remakes will be coming. Resident Evil 4 director Yasuhiro Anpo said, “We have released three remakes so far and they have all been very well received. “I’m happy to do this as someone who loves these old games, as it allows a modern audience to play these games, and that’s why we want to continue making more,” he said, adding that they will announce new productions soon.

Capcom has not yet announced the renewed version of the spin-off productions, but it is claimed that the company’s new production will be Resident Evil: Code Veronica and this production will be available for sale in 2024. In addition to all this, Capcom continues to work on Resident Evil 9, and this production is expected to be the largest and most expensive RE production ever.
