The inside of the crypto money market, which is free by nature, can be followed much more easily because it is not connected to a central institution. Investors, who are not satisfied with Bitcoin and altcoin prices traded on the stock market, generally try to make clearer predictions by accessing on-chain data via blockchain platforms. However, according to the development that has emerged today, investors are not the only ones following this data.

Canadian police have revealed that they are using on-chain data to track crypto-related crimes, in a statement to local media source. The news source stated that law enforcement agencies are actively using the Chainalysis Reactor tool when tracing. The platform in question transmits detailed data on where Bitcoin and altcoin units are moving.

A member of the police department specializing in blockchain emphasized that criminals are much easier to track down thanks to the Chainalysis database. Chainalysis and the Calgary Police Department signed a partnership agreement in April 2023.
