With Apple’s big iPhone event getting closer and closer, a new rumor suggests that the company may launch both the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the iPhone 15 Ultra at the same time later this month, but it’s worth noting that this seems unlikely at the moment.
As reported via AppleInsider, the prediction by leak source Majin Bu predicts the two phone models will have similar specs, and claims that the Ultra version of the iPhone 15 will offer more in terms of RAM and internal storage.
Allegedly, the iPhone 15 Pro Max stands out with 6GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, while the iPhone 15 Ultra will offer users “better camera features” as well as 8GB of RAM and 2TB of internal storage.
The claim also says that the iPhone 15 Ultra will cost $100 more than the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and both phones have 6.7-inch displays. However, he also acknowledges that there is some uncertainty about whether both devices will come to light this year.
On the other hand, it seems rather unreasonable for Apple to replace the traditional quad phone series and add a new model that is very similar to the current model, and it should be noted that this leak source was not the most reliable in the past.
So far, no other leaker has mentioned the simultaneous launch of both the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Ultra. Mark Gurman, one of the best names in the industry in Apple forecasts, says that this will not be the case for this year, but we have to wait for next year.
