Samsung has released an update for the Camera Assistant and Expert RAW applications on its smartphones. The update, which mainly targets the flagship Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra models, aims to provide users with more control as well as improving camera performance.

It should be noted that the South Korean company focuses on improving photo quality. Camera Assistant, updated to version 2.0.00.0, now works more stable. Additionally, a new feature called “Distortion Correct” has been added, allowing users to correct distortions in photos taken with the ultra-wide-angle camera.

ND shooting mode has arrived

Expert RAW application has been upgraded to version 1.0.05.4. ND shooting mode is now available. This mode allows smartphone cameras to shoot as if they were using a physical ND filter. In other words, it creates the effect of darkened gray glass used to ensure less light reaches the sensor.
