South Korean technology giant Samsung was a guest with a discussion that drew attention to our news recently. According to the claim of a Reddit user, the company was “wrongly” marketing its Space Zoom feature. Even before these discussions subsided, now there has been an annoying development regarding the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 +. Numerous users have started reporting problems with their phones’ camera.
Claims that have appeared in many channels such as Reddit, XDA and Samsung community forums suggest that there may be hardware malfunctions in the cameras of the Samsung Galaxy S23 family. Because, according to user reports, some parts of the photos taken are blurred. Moreover, in the examinations, it is stated that the same problem stands out even in RAW mode, which does not interfere with the photos.
The problem could be the lenses.
Above you see a photo taken with the Samsung Galaxy S23 family. If you follow the red arrows, you can see for yourself that there is a blur in an area that looks roughly like a banana. This banana shape is a bit of a nuisance. Because industry sources think that the problem detected in many photographic examples may be caused by the lens. If the predictions are correct, it means that Samsung will not be able to fix the problem with a software update.

There was no comment from Samsung on the matter. However, it is already known that the company is working on a camera-focused update. If the blur problem is resolved after this update, the discussions will end. Otherwise, a recall program may be initiated for some Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+s. The main cameras of the phones can be changed as part of this recall. We will see what will happen in the coming days.
If you are using a Galaxy S23 or Galaxy S23+, you can share with us whether you have such a problem.
