iPhone 15 will come with 48 megapixel lens with stacked sensor design
Apple wants to increase the camera capabilities of all its members in the new series. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, famous for iPhone leaks, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will feature a 48-megapixel main camera with a stacked sensor design. The lens has the ability to capture more light.
Pro members of the iPhone 15 family will also have important capabilities on the camera side. It is speculated that Apple will use Sony’s latest “state-of-the-art” image sensors for the iPhone 15 models. Sony uses semiconductor architecture, which allows more photodiodes by placing photodiodes and transistors in separate layers.
Allegedly, Apple will include a 1-inch Sony IMX903 sensor in the iPhone 15 Pro Max model. It is stated that the main camera of the device will be 48 Megapixels. Allegations are that the company will only include a periscope lens in the Pro Max model.
On the other hand, Apple will use a 12 Megapixel periscope lens with 6x zoom on the iPhone 15 Pro Max model. Additionally, telephoto and ultra-wide cameras supplied by Sunny Optical Technology will feature five- and six-element hybrid lenses.
