Technology giant Google is preparing to introduce the Pixel 8 series, which will perhaps be the best android smartphones ever. In the past days, Pixel 8 Pro has come to the fore with the ability to measure body temperature. A recent report revealed the camera details of Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro from the series.
Pixel 8 series could feature new ISOCELL GN2 main sensor
A new report by Android Authority has revealed that the Pixel 8 series has received a significant upgrade in the camera department. According to the report, both Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will get Samsung ISOCELL GN2 as the main camera sensor. The inclusion of the new main sensor means it captures about 35% more light compared to the previous model. This enhancement aims to reduce motion blur by providing brighter low-light images and faster shutter speeds. In addition, this sensor also supports 8K / 30 fps video shooting.
The Google Pixel 8 Pro also gets another very welcome upgrade for the ultra-wide camera. The 12MP Sony IMX386 in the old series will be replaced by the 64MP Sony IMX787, which is much more useful in the Pixel 8 Pro. In addition, the sensor will have a 0.49x zoom ratio. If we talk about the telephoto camera of the device, it is expected to be a 48 MP Samsung GM5 sensor and have a 5x zoom ratio. Finally, the device may have a selfie camera consisting of an 11MP Samsung 3J1 sensor on the front.
