In fact, in 2021, Activision announced that MW3 was not remastered. However, Twitter user TheGhostofHope, known for Call of Duty leaks, has already finished developing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remastered, according to the information he received from his sources. Allegedly, the game is currently just waiting for the release date to be announced.
The tweet above reads in full: “When I asked my source if MW 3 Story Remastered was coming, they told me: ‘MW3 Story Remastered’ has not been canceled as previously stated. The game is complete and waiting to be released’.”
