Call of Duty Mobile’s Lunar New Year themed Season 1: Heist content is ending soon. Still, the developer is already bringing a night variant of the classic Modern Warfare 3 map and a new weapon for the mobile game’s second season of 2022.
Season 1 of Call of Duty Mobile ends in 17 days. Considering the game’s previous launch dates, Season 2 is thought to arrive on February 23. However, it is possible that airtimes will vary.
Call of Duty Mobile adds Hardhat map
Call of Duty Mobile continues to add multiplayer maps from past games. Thus, it takes us back to the old days with seasonal content. Season 2 now comes with a slightly new look for Modern Warfare 3’s Hardhat map.
Hardhat’s construction site was originally built for a daytime location. However, Call of Duty Mobile’s Twitter account shared an image of the map in a dark and rainy environment. In addition, “Twilight construction to maximize efficiency will be ready for you.” said.
Season 2 brought with it new weapons. While not all of the weapons that will be included in the new season are known, the developer has hinted at a DLC weapon. On February 6, Activision tweeted an image of an empty gun safe. At this point he asked the players what could be in the empty gun safe.
Some players noted in the tweet that the shape inside the gun case resembles a JAK-12 shotgun. The JAK-12 was a shotgun that was originally added to the game with Season 6 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. In addition to Call of Duty Mobile, the second season of Vanguard is expected to arrive this month. Activision recently said that armored war machines are coming to both Vanguard and Warzone.
