The legendary game was released for Xbox 360 in 2010. It has been said that the first version of the game, which is still among the favorites of millions of players, even after 13 years, will come for Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

Rockstar has put a price of $ 50 on the game, which will go on sale on August 17. However, this price was found to be quite a lot for a game without a remake. While fans reacted, a Reddit user said that it is now cheaper to buy the Xbox 360, which was released in 2005, and the necessary Red Dead Redemption game for that console, than to buy the new game.

The price of Red Dead Redemption is not “commercially correct” I guess!

Players who have been waiting for a new and updated version of Red Dead Redemption for a long time were disappointed with Rockstar’s announcement.

The fact that the game is not remake or remastered has already had a bad effect, while the price of such a game for $ 50 has caused reactions. Moreover, this game can already be played in 4K on Xbox Series X.

So much so that the game announcement video shared on Rockstar’s Youtube account was filled with reactions from six players. The number of “dislikes” of the video reached around 120,000.

In the past days, Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games made a statement about the price of the game after the reactions. However, the statement made the players more angry. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said a price of $50 is “commercially correct.”

In a post shared by a Reddit user, he revealed that getting Red Dead Redemption for an Xbox 360 and console is much cheaper than buying the game that will be released on August 17.

According to a Reddit user’s calculation, a second-hand Xbox 360 costs £29.99, and an Xbox 360 compatible Red Dead Redemption game costs £7.99. Thus, the cost of purchasing the console and the game is 38 pounds.

When 38 pounds are converted to dollars, the cost is equivalent to an average of 48 dollars. However, it’s only $50 to buy the newly released Red Dead Redemption.
