The graphics card struggle between AMD and Nvidia continues at full speed. While both manufacturers are fighting about high-performance graphics cards, they do not want to neglect their low-budget customers. Finally, it seems that Nvidia, which has taken a big step in this regard with the GTX 1630, will soon receive an answer from AMD. Allegedly, AMD has started working on a cheap graphics card.
AMD may be working on the RX 6300
According to the information received, AMD is working on a cheaper graphics card positioned below the current RX 6400. These claims have been made with a new code added to the Beige Goby graphics cards produced by AMD for Linux operating systems.
Beige Goby family is a graphics card based on RDNA 2 architecture built with Navi 24 GPU, like current RX 6500 XT and RX 6400 graphics cards. It is not yet clear what a potential new Navi 24 graphics card will offer. The new graphics card may be the renewal of the existing RX 6400, or we may be faced with a completely new graphics card.
AMD may introduce a more budget-friendly graphics card positioned below the RX 6400. Accordingly, with the RX 6300, AMD will respond to Nvidia’s GTX 1630 model. There is not much information at this point. This code added to the Linux driver can mean many things. However, the biggest claim on this subject is in the direction of a budget-friendly graphics card.
AMD is currently offering a version of the 6300 for mobile devices. This graphics card, which has lower performance than the RX 6400, also stands out with its much cheaper price. AMD may follow a similar path for computers. In this way, gamers can have a cheaper graphics card that offers less performance.
So what do you think about AMD’s graphics cards, do you think a cheaper graphics card should come? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
