Quick delivery application Getir now has a job posting feature. Job seekers and employers come together on the new platform called Getirİş, added to the Getir application. You can see the jobs near you and the job seekers near you on the map.

Businesses looking for employees can post free advertisements by entering the working information of the position they want, from waiters to courier, from accounting staff to sales representatives. Job seekers can also reach employers free of charge by adding their experiences, previous places of work and information about themselves to their profiles. In addition to full-time jobs, short-term jobs such as private lessons, cleaning and painting are also included.

Employees and job seekers at Getirİş can communicate with free messaging and video calls via the application, without sharing their e-mail or phone numbers. If the parties approve during the application process, the conversation window that opens allows a secure interview process. However, there is a security vulnerability regarding addresses in the application. Everyone can see the addresses of the people who are looking for a job, right down to the house number. This can create a security problem.

We entered a new service area by acquiring the majority share of Kendiiş. In our service, which we set out with the motto of ‘Work nearby, Bring Job’, job seekers will be able to go to their jobs by means of a single vehicle or on foot, without wasting time, if they find a job from their close surroundings. Employee seekers, on the other hand, will be able to work safely with people from their close circles, perhaps they know. In this way, we will both support the individual welfare of job seekers and employees and provide a social benefit.”
Getir had created the GetirIs brand by purchasing the majority shares of the local startup Hepsiiş, which has been operating since 2019. You can access Getirİş via the Getir mobile application. In addition to market services, the application also features GetirYemek, GetirÇarşı, GetirBitaxi and GetirSu.
