Brave Software has brought some innovations to the service by updating its privacy-focused video conferencing service Brave Talk. Among the innovations is a browser plugin that allows users to link Brave Talk links to Google Calendar invitations (just like Google Meet). The goal here is to make it easier for users to incorporate Brave Talk into their daily routine.
In addition to the browser plug-in, the company has expanded the free version of its video conferencing service and now offers unlimited video conferencing for up to four users.
Brave, which started life as a security-oriented web browser, is now starting to offer different services to expand its dominance. Examples of new services are Brave VPN, firewall, crypto wallet, news service and Brave search engine. “Unlike other video conferencing providers, which may involve the collection and sharing of user data without adequate transparency and control, Brave Talk is designed by default not to share user information or contacts,” Brave said in a statement.
