According to the statement made by Google, one of the features that will be offered to users in the near future will be “Archive Applications”. This new feature, which will be offered with the Google Play Store, will be most useful for users who have storage problems. So how exactly will this feature work?

The Archive Applications feature for Android will be used for the applications to be deleted. A user who prefers will be able to choose to keep his personal data on the phone before deleting the application from the phone. When the application is reinstalled, there will be no need to enter login information. It will continue from there after the reinstallation, as it was just before the application was deleted.
When you enter the Google Play Store, you can see previously installed applications. The Archive Apps feature will appear right here. The user will reinstall the archived application with the “Reload” button instead of deleting it. This feature will be effective for apps that need to be deleted suddenly when there is a storage problem. By the way; Within the scope of this feature, you can also delete the data you have stored on the phone.

Another feature that will be offered to users through the Google Play Store will be to show the download percentage. This feature, which will be optionally activated from the Settings section in the Google Play Store, will allow a small bubble to show how many percent an application has been downloaded.

In addition, special emojis for the New Year will be delivered to users via Gboard.
