We have seen a series of foldable smartphones from Samsung so far in 2 form factors. One of them was the Z Flip series with a vertically foldable screen, while the other was the Z Fold series with its design reminiscent of a book. However, the company claims that with its new website, these will be just the beginning.
Samsung’s website, which you can access here, has many phone shapes showing how to take advantage of flexible displays. We have already seen the use of 2 types of flexible screens in Z Flip and Z Fold models, while they are called Flex Bar and Flex Square. However, the Flex Slidable and Flex Rollable models here, we haven’t met under the umbrella of Samsung yet.
Let’s also say that Samsung has not confirmed that it is working on phones with any of these designs.
Possible use cases of flexible OLED display technology are featured on this website. But apparently these phones are also in the company’s future plans. On the other hand, with the Flex Note model, which you can see below, we can conclude that Samsung wants to move the Galaxy Note series to a different plane.
