Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said the company will go public in the future:
“I think Ripple will be a public company in the future”
In the midst of a legal battle with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Ripple is not currently prioritizing an IPO.
Garlinghouse stated that the case should be resolved before it goes public. The CEO again accused the SEC of deliberately delaying the litigation process.
As it will be remembered, the discovery period for the SEC and Ripple was extended until February 28.
In April 2021, Coinbase attracted attention by going public. Ripple may also make a similar move based on the outcome of the lawsuit.
Garlinghouse expressed that while Ripple is in a great position right now, he is also quite optimistic about the ongoing market correction.
