Boston Dynamics has released a new video of its robot dog Spot showing off its new features and dancing. Spot now provides full color images so operators can more easily control the robot.

Tablet control has also been improved

By releasing a video called No Time To Dance, Boston Dynamics offered a look at the new features they’ve included in Spot. The company has improved the operator’s vision by adding five stereo cameras around the robot dog’s body.

To both control the robot and create autonomous tasks, the company has also made improvements to tablet control. Now with an 8-inch screen, the tablet offers more space for task editing, teleoperation and data review. Weighing less than half a kilo, the tablet has drop protection and comes with around 8 hours of battery life.
