Mark Zuckerberg, who admitted that they censored some news about the son of US President Joe Biden in the past days, was constantly dealing with the courts due to the violations of the Meta company he founded. While the number of critics and dislikes has increased rapidly in the last few years, Zuckerberg has accelerated his work on the Metaverse.

Today, a bomb attack took place on the campus of Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. While there was no loss of life in the attack, the note next to the bomb targeting Mark Zuckerbeg left question marks in mind.

The note contained threats to Mark Zuckerberg

The package, which was sent to the Virtual Reality department of the Northeastern University Campus, exploded when a pickup officer opened the package. While there was no loss of life in the incident, the officer with minor wounds on his hands was urgently taken to the hospital. After the campus was completely evacuated, the police announced that there were no other bombs and stated that there was a note next to the bomb.

While the full content of the note, which was cryptic and full of strange words, was not shared, John Miller, a law enforcement and intelligence analyst at CNN, said on the program he attended, “There was a note and pictures next to the bomb. The note targeted Mark Zuckerberg and referred to the Metaverse, universities and Mark Zuckerberg. The note is somewhat meaningless, but the authorities are doing their best to decipher the meaning underneath.” According to other experts, the note was based on technology and an anti-Metaverse anarchist threatening Mark Zuckerberg, who was trying to establish the Metaverse universe.

Is the famous “Unabomber” back?

Boston police department and local officials stated that the bomb was not detonated remotely, but was set to explode when the package was opened. World-renowned anti-terrorism expert Brian J. Philips said that this action may have been a student of Theodore Kaczynski, nicknamed “Unabomber”, known for his bombings in the 1980s.

Unabomber was an American mathematician, academic, and anarchist. He carried out anti-technology actions between 1978 and 1995 and carried out bomb attacks on universities working on technology in various parts of the country under the name of Unabomber. Theodore Kaczynski, who killed 3 people and injured 23 people between these years, confessed to all his crimes after he was caught in 1998 and was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. Kaczynski was transferred from a maximum security prison in North Carolina to a healthcare facility last year due to his deteriorating health condition.

Brian J. Philips, on the other hand, mentioned that he suspects that this new “Unabomber” may be an anarchist trained by Theodore Kaczynski or someone who follows his example. Philips also claimed that, according to the information he obtained, it was written in the note that the continuation of the bombs would follow.

While US officials did not make a statement about the information in the note, Mark Zuckerberg remained silent about this attack, in which he was targeted.
