The giant Chinese panel manufacturer BOE, together with its research and development offices in 19 different countries, invests heavily in LCD, LED and OLED technologies. The company announced the world’s first 500Hz player monitor, which will play to the peak on the refresh rate side.

It will offer 500Hz refresh rate in FullHD resolution

Looking at the image shared by the company, the new monitor, which has a screen size of 27 inches, comes with a 500Hz refresh rate, as well as a 1 ms response time, 8-bit color gamut support and an 8-lane eDP connection. Although the use of panels with FullHD resolution is gradually decreasing, we can say that these monitors are preferred by professional gamers and users who aim to get higher FPS in games.

Introducing the world’s first 110 inch 8K 120Hz panel in the past, BOE’s new investments seem to continue. Although the company has not yet shared detailed information about the new player monitor, important details such as connection options, release date or price are expected to be announced soon.
