German manufacturer BMW continues its attacks in terms of mobility. In this context, they introduced the new BMW iX1 eDrive20, which they call a sporty SUV. In addition to responding to the wishes of BMW’s sporty SUV-loving customers, the model aims to create a new SUV audience with its affordable price. Considering that the existing SUV mass is growing day by day, it seems like a very logical breakthrough.
Let’s start with the most curious part of the car first. The vehicle has an electric motor producing 150kW of power. In other words, the car produces 204 HP. However, the vehicle also has 270 Nm of torque, so it accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 8.6 seconds. The maximum speed of the compact SUV, limited by BMW, is 170 kilometers per hour.
The model has a range of 430 to 475 kilometers in total with its powerful engine as well as batteries that do not take up much space. In addition, the battery can be charged using AC with a power of up to 130 kW. In the fast charging station, the state of charge of the battery can be filled from 10 percent to 80 percent in 29 minutes.
When we come to the safety and comfort equipment of the vehicle, a large list welcomes us.
