Throttle House, one of the most famous car channels of YouTube, has released a new video for drag racing fans. They pushed the limits of cars by putting the BMW M4 xDrive, Audi RS5 Sportback and Nissan GT-R into a triple drag race. Before watching this breathtaking race, let’s take a quick look at the features of each vehicle.
Which of these three cars is closer to winning the race?
German automotive giant BMW’s M4 xDrive model vehicle has a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine. The vehicle, which has 503 horsepower as standard, provides 650 Nm of torque.
The GT-R model, with Nissan’s nickname ‘Godzilla’, has 633 Nm of torque and 573 horsepower under the hood. Throttle House states that the standard exhaust of the model used in the race has been changed, but the 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 is left as is. As a result, it will not be easy to pass this monster, which can go from 0 to 100 km in 2.9 seconds, in a drag race.
Another German automotive giant, Audi’s RS5 Sportback model has a 2.9-liter twin-turbo. With 599 Nm of torque and 449 horsepower, the lowest horsepower among the three vehicles belongs to the RS5 Sportback. Still, it’s sure to be a formidable competitor in drag racing.
So who is the winner? Here is the video of the drag race:
The first leg of the race is a classic drag race. In the race, where the launch control systems of the vehicles are decisive, a surprising result emerges. The second race measures the vehicles’ ability to accelerate as they go.
In the third race, the Standard RS5 Sportback leaves its place to the Audi RS5-R with 690 Nm of torque and 530 horsepower. This change also reveals the true strengths of the other two racing cars.
