New BMW i3 Sedan With 285 horsepower

BMW has officially introduced the new i3 Sedan model. Developed on the basis of the long-wheelbase version of the current BMW 3 Series, the model hosts an electric motor that can produce 285 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque.

When we take a look at the shared photos, we see that the electric model has thinner daytime running lights, unlike the 3 Series. In addition, blue details and “i” logos on various parts of the vehicle have moved away from the standard 3 Series. Aerodynamic wheel covers have also taken their place in the electric car.

In the new model, called BMW i3 eDrive35L, the electric power unit is located on the rear axle. The model, which will be offered as rear-wheel drive, reaches 100 km / h in 6.2 seconds.

According to data from China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle, the electric car will offer a range of 526 km. It takes 35 minutes to increase the battery of the electric model from 10 percent to 80 percent with the help of the 95 kW unit. It is also possible to provide a range of approximately 100 km to the vehicle with a 10-minute charge.

The new BMW i3 Sedan, developed for the Chinese market, will also be produced in this country. The new electric car, the fruit of the Bavarian manufacturer’s Brillance partnership, will go on sale in May.
