Bloomberg Terminal adds 40 new cryptocurrencies.
Renowned financial data provider Bloomberg Terminal has announced the addition of 40 new cryptocurrencies. With the last update, the number of cryptocurrencies that the terminal provides data to has increased to 50. Professional users can now track 50 cryptocurrencies in real time, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, XRP and Solana.
Cryptocurrencies were first included in Bloomberg Terminal with the addition of Bitcoin in 2013. The announcement also stated that more cryptocurrencies are being reviewed for inclusion.
The move comes after more institutions became interested in the space as the crypto market matured. As the ties of big players to the crypto space have strengthened, the demand for verifiable data has also increased in direct proportion.
