New features continue to be added to e-Government. In the light of developing technologies, e-Government will gain blockchain technology. An official statement on the matter has been made. Blockchain technology will ensure the security of users and personal data.

Emphasizing that it will be a new revolution, Vice President Fuat Oktay announced the blockchain-based login system and the e-Wallet application. Oktay said the following on the subject:

“We are introducing ‘digital identity’, a blockchain-based login system that will be a new revolution in e-Government. With the login system that will work within the framework of the e-Wallet application, our citizens will be able to enter the e-Government with digital identities created in the blockchain network. The transition from online e-Government to offline e-Government, that is, by evolving into a system where digital information can be kept securely on mobile phones for users, this work, which we took the first steps today, will develop and open the door to new conveniences.”

In addition, a service called “My Military Service” will be available in the first quarter of 2023. Thanks to this service, transactions covering the roll call period, summons and dispatch period, active duty period, reserve period and the entire military service period will be done via e-Government without going to the Military Service.
