BlackRock CEO Larry Fink said the asset management giant has deeply studied the crypto industry.
The company behind the USDC stablecoin, Circle, announced yesterday that it has entered into a strategic partnership with BlackRock. BlackRock CEO Fink stated that the company worked with Circle last year and managed some of these reserves with the aim of being the main manager of the company’s reserves.
BlockRock collects information on cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, blockchain and tokenization. Fink, in his letter to shareholders last month, emphasized that they are receiving increasing attention from customers.
Fink also stated in the same letter that the firm is working on digital currencies, stablecoins and underlying technologies to respond to customers’ requests.
