Once again, the end of the road is in sight for BlackBerry, the former king of mobile phones. The company announced that as of January 4, core services of OS 10, as well as its classic devices running BlackBerry OS 7.1 and earlier, will be discontinued. January 4 will also be the end of the PlayBook, which is referred to as the company’s unfortunate tablet.
It is not difficult to say that it has officially come to the end of the road for BlackBerry, which has announced that services such as old services, software, data and phone calls will not work reliably as of January 4, via operator or Wi-Fi.
Of course, none of this comes as a surprise. Because BlackBerry closed its app store and popular Messenger (BBM) service in 2019. It is possible to say that there would be a somewhat optimistic point of view that would come back from here.
