A Bitcoin whale waking up from its 12-year slumber has moved its assets.

Bitcoin whale has moved $11 million in assets after 12 years of inactivity. While the activity of whales continues to increase in the sector recently, some users consider this as the footsteps of the bull.

After Whale’s Awakening, $11 Million In Assets Moved

An idle Bitcoin whale address has transferred approximately $11 million worth of Bitcoin to its dormant wallet since 2011. The address in question sent 400 Bitcoins in batches of 100 to another address with a cumulative US dollar value of $10.9 million.

The wallet, as a result of investigations through BitInfoCharts, revealed that 900 and then 100 Bitcoins were added to the value of approximately $4,300 and $480, which were found to be dormant since 2011.

This move in whale follows the recent trend of resurgence of long dormant wallets. On Thursday, a Bitcoin whale address that has been idle for over nine years transferred 2,071.5 BTC worth $60.7 million. A day later, another whale woke up after ten years of inactivity and sent 279 Bitcoins worth $7.8 million to three new addresses.
