Bitcoin (BTC) architect Satoshi Nakamoto, who revolutionized the global economy, has been awarded a Nobel prize by the community.
Satoshi, who emerged during the collapse of the traditional economy, published Bitcoin, perhaps unaware that it would revolutionize. Launched in 2009, Bitcoin made its first network activity with an interesting message. At this point, the architect of cryptocurrencies is deemed worthy of the Nobel prize by maximalists.
Satoshi Nakamoto Nominated for Nobel Prize in Economics
Cryptocurrency fans and Bitcoin maximalists have once again launched a campaign for Satoshi Nakamoto. The Society demands that Nakamoto receive the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences.
The award event was recently organized by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. This year the Nobel Prize in Economics went to Ben Bernanke, the former chairman of the US Federal Reserve. Among the candidates were two names who did research on banks and financial crises.
After the award was delivered, reactions emerged, especially on social media. Bitcoin fans argued that Satoshi should receive the award.
Criticizing the Nobel decision, the community saw Bernanke, who printed money to bail out banks in the 2008 crisis, as the wrong choice. During the same period, attention was drawn to Satoshi, who created Bitcoin with the aim of providing economic freedom to all people. While there were intense reactions to the institutions that organized the award, a campaign was started for the Bitcoin architect to be awarded.
Satoshi Nakamoto gave a message when he launched Bitcoin. Nakamoto said in his message that banks are looking for a bailout plan.
At this point, Bitcoin is seen by the majority as an economic revolution.
