Bitcoin ATM Installed in Mexico’s Senate Building

A Bitcoin ATM has been installed in Mexico’s senate building.

According to a report by local press El Heraldo de Mexico, Mexico has installed a Bitcoin ATM in the Senate building, which is preparing to regulate crypto assets. The development has come with the support of several lawmakers, including Miguel Ángel Mancera, coordinator of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Revolution Party (PRD). The ATM in question is the fourteenth ATM in the country. The country has thirteen Bitcoin ATMs in cities such as Mexico City, Tijuana, Cancún, Guadalajara, Culiacán, San Miguel de Cozumel, and Aguascalientes.

Mexican parliamentarian Indira Kempis also shared a photo of the ATM on her Twitter account.
