Spanish cryptocurrency exchange Bit2Me has announced that it has acquired a blockchain and crypto-focused software development company.
The company, which was graylisted by Spain’s regulator Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) mid this year, is expanding its blockchain-connected services. Bit2Me stated that the acquisition will strengthen the company’s activities in various areas.
Bit2Me Acquires Software Development Company Dekalabs
Bit2Me, the first firm to be licensed as a crypto services provider by the Bank of Spain, said it has acquired blockchain and crypto-focused software development firm Dekalabs.
The firm said in a statement that the acquisition will strengthen Bit2Me’s position in helping companies and institutions develop tools on blockchain protocols such as cryptocurrency, Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Saying that the company plans to add 250 employees despite the challenging conditions in the crypto industry, CEO Leif Ferreira gave the following words on the subject:
