Cryptomining company Bit Digital, which left China, has placed about 40% of its devices in North America.
Bit Digital, which left the country completely after China’s crackdown on crypto miners, announced that it has placed 39.2% of its devices. In a press release, it was stated that as of March 15, 10,462 Bitcoin mining devices and 712 Ethereum mining devices, equal to the computing power of 0.511 Exahash/second (EH/s) and 0.188 Terahash/second (TH/s), respectively, were deployed at its North American facilities. The company also said last October that it had placed an order with Bitmain for a maximum of $65 million for 10,000 devices.
The company expects 103 megawatts (MW) of hosting capacity for mining devices to be ready by the end of the year.
