After the collapse of FTX, one of the largest crypto exchanges, the market is on the edge. Changpeng Zhao (CZ), CEO of the world’s largest crypto exchange Binance, made a post for Coinbas this time. The sharing caused an uneasiness in the market. However, Brian Armstrong, Coinbase co-founder and CEO, stepped in. Keep reading us for details.

Binance CEO CZ reveals his doubts about Coinbase

As you follow on Kriptokoin.com, the uncertainty that the dramatic collapse of crypto exchange FTX has dragged the market still continues. The role of Binance CEO CZ in this process has made him an even more important personality. That’s why every post draws attention and is followed closely. The market’s eyes are on the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) these days. Many people question whether GBTC actually has 635k BTC. In addition, with the effect of these inquiries, the leading crypto Bitcoin fell below $ 16 thousand. Today, CZ was among them and shared the following:

Coinbase says it holds 635k BTC for Grayscale. However, Coinbase had less than 600,000 Bitcoins 4 months ago. I don’t want to make any claims. I’m just saying what I’ve seen on the news. By the way, Glassnode probably has more up-to-date data.

Immediate response from Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong

However, after CZ shared, Coinbase co-founder and CEO Brian Armstrong stepped in. It looks like CZ has hit hard rock this time. Armstrong stated that our financials are public and that CZ’s statements are not factual. In this direction, Coinbase CEO shared the following statements on Twitter:

If you see FUD outside, remember, our finances are public. So, we are a public company. We hold about 2 million BTC. Worth ~$39.9 Billion as of 30/9 Please see our Quarter 10. We all need to come together to responsibly build this industry going forward. Be wary of false information.

Binance CEO CZ deleted his previous post

Finally, CZ had to step back when Changpeng Zhao’s allegations were answered. Accordingly, after Brian Armstrong’s statements, CZ deleted his posts. Afterwards, he made the following statement by saying ‘Let’s work together for transparency in the sector’:

Brian Armstrong just told me that the numbers in the articles are wrong. I deleted the previous tweet. Let’s work together to increase transparency in the industry.
