Leading crypto-asset trading platform Binance has partnered with The Recording Academy to bring web 3.0 solutions to the music community. Although details on the subject are not known, it was stated that the initiative does not include NFTs. Panos A. Panay, co-chairman of The Recording Academy, said in a statement on the subject that the organization will explore new ways of making money for its members and that together with Binance, they will create new experiences for music lovers.
As part of the deal, Binance will become the academy’s crypto exchange partner for Grammy Week events, including the 64th Grammy Awards. Although a Binance spokesperson refused to make a statement on the subject, it was stated that the deal was more than a year old and details will be announced in the coming days.
