Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, is restarting its services in Belgium after a break of approximately three months. Authorities, who made an official statement last evening, shared the good news for Belgian crypto lovers on the X account.
The Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) demanded that the exchange cease its operations in the country earlier this summer. Binance officials stated that they have fully met FSMA’s regulatory requirements as of today.
The government agency had pointed out some problems when asking Binance to stop crypto services in the country. FSMA criticized the Binance exchange for not doing enough to combat black money and terrorist financing. The Belgian institution stated that the stock exchange made such work easier. However, this situation seems to have disappeared today.

“We have good news for our Belgian customers! Registration and access to Binance products and services have been reopened in the country.”
Making a more detailed statement after the news, the exchange’s Belgian account stated that users must re-register and approve the terms.
The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by transaction volume is experiencing problems in many regions. Different laws implemented by different countries create great challenges for the global stock market.
Binance.US, the US subsidiary of the giant stock exchange, has faced various investigations since the beginning of the year. While the SEC accused the cryptocurrency platform of illegal activity, local administrators requested the dismissal of the case.
