Binance changes in the frequency of adding the monitoring label (surveillance/monitoring label) based on community feedback. According to a statement, as of March 4, 2025, the monitoring label will be held on a monthly basis. New projects will be included in the list in the first week of each month. Meanwhile, the stock market added 10 more Altcoin to the monitoring list. As a result of this announcement, the decrease in prices drew attention.
Binance added 10 altcoin to the monitoring list
According to the Binance announcement, the process of removing the monitoring and Seed label will continue to be evaluated on a quarter basis. Binance announced on March 4, 2025 that it will add more tokens to the scope of the monitoring label. Token’s and price changes to be added to this label are as follows:
- Aergo (Aergo): 19 percent dropped
- Alpaca Finance (Alpaca): 14.97 percent depreciated
- Airswap (AST): 29 percent dropped
- Badger DAO (Badger): 17 percent declined
- Burgercities (Burger): lost 24 percent
- Combo (Combo): 27 percent decreased
- Nuls (Nuls): 26 percent decreased
- STP (STPT): 14 percent decreased
- Unilend (UFT): lost 17 percent
- VIDT DAO (VIDT): 22 percent decreased
What is the meaning of the monitoring tag?
Token with monitoring label may have higher volatility and risks than other listed assets. These tokens are closely monitored and evaluated periodically. Token, carrying the monitoring label, carries a risk of removing the platform unless Binance meets the listing criteria.
In order to be able to tract these tokens, users need to accept the quiz (test) completion and conditions of use every 90 days on Binance Spot and Binance Margin platforms. The Quiz was prepared to ensure that users become aware of the risks of these assets. The monitoring label can be displayed on Binance Spot and Binance Margin trade pages, as well as in the Overview section of the markets. In addition to the pages related to these tokens, there will also be a risk warning band.
Binance decides to examine the projects at regular intervals to add or remove the monitoring label. The following criteria are taken into consideration in the evaluation process:

- Level and Quality of Development Activities
- Trade volume and liquidity
- Stability and safety of the network against cyber attacks
- Smart contract and network stability
- Public communication level
- Periodic demands responding speed
- Ethical/fraudulent behavior evidence
- Contribution to Crypto Ecosystem
Binance said that other services related to relevant tokens will not be affected and that the monitoring label updates will be updated following the publication of the announcement.
