In addition to his technological initiatives, Bill Gates also comes to the fore with his work on the climate crisis. The famous businessman recently attracted attention with his 12 million dollar investment in the Rumin8 initiative of his company called Breakthrough Energy Ventures.
Rumin8, the startup announced in a statement that it has completed the seed financing and increased it to 25.5 million Australian dollars. With the support of Bill Gates, Remin8 is developing a seaweed feed to prevent methane gas from cows.
As everyone knows, methane gas is the second biggest factor causing the climate crisis in the world. In the first place, of course, there is carbon dioxide. In fact, according to the US Environmental Protection Agency, methane gas is much more powerful than carbon dioxide at retaining heat in the atmosphere.

“The demand for sustainable protein has never been more pronounced. That’s why Breakthrough Energy Ventures is keenly interested in reducing methane emissions from beef and dairy.”
