All major platforms, from Instagram to Facebook, made various changes in their applications in 2022. There were even those who changed their logo designs. Now, YouTube has made a change in the interface section under the videos with the new update that it silently shared.
YouTube has released a new update for the interface!
After updating the interface by YouTube, there were some changes in the video page. But for now, let’s say that the Home, Discover, Shorts, Originals, Music and Search sections are the same. In other words, the only change occurred in the description section under the videos.
Here, firstly, the video description is compressed to the upper left side. On the right side, there are additional options such as liking, sharing and downloading. The subscribe button is just below the description. The featured comment is displayed on the right. In addition, if there is no prominent post here, we can comment here as well as the area below.
Additionally, we see that the font and size of the video title have been re-adjusted. In fact, all the information included in the content is combined in a small area on the left, while the remaining options are collected on the right.
As a result of this change, we can say that YouTube has actually divided the relevant video page into three. On the top are the video, its description and related options, below are the comments, and on the right are videos from other content producers that may be of interest to you.
