Ubisoft announced on Saturday that it has developed a new Assassin’s Creed mobile game that will be exclusive to Netflix. In addition, the company is also preparing two new mobile games for Netflix: the sequel to Valiant Hearts, a puzzle adventure set during World War I, and a new Mighty Quest game.
The games that can be played through Netflix’s mobile application will be exclusive to Netflix subscribers only. The games will be downloadable and contain no in-game purchases or advertisements.
Ubisoft said the new Valiant Hearts story will begin in January 2023. Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is also coming in 2023, while Assassin’s Creed is “working on” it.
Netflix announced in late 2020 that it is working with Ubisoft on a live-action TV series based on Assassin’s Creed, one of Ubisoft’s most popular video game franchises. The new game will take players on an adventure through different historical events over time.
Last month, it was announced that less than 1% of Netflix’s 221 million subscribers have ever downloaded Netflix games. Netflix describes his transition to acting as a long-term process and plans to connect movies and TV series with games over time.
