This location data is also used for predictive traffic routing, app recommendations, and Memories in the Photos app. According to security researchers, although important locations are stored within the device, they can be misused because it records detailed information about frequently visited locations.
As for the iPhone Analytics option, although the reports do not identify the user, it may have privacy implications because location information is included in the analytics reports.
