Although there is no clear information on the subject at the moment, this has led to rumors that the Chinese manufacturer is developing an operating system called MiOS.

As it is known, Huawei was the last company to develop its own operating system. The company has launched HarmonyOS in recent years in order to minimize its dependence on foreign sources due to US sanctions. Xiaomi, on the other hand, does not face any sanctions like Huawei, at least as far as we know. The company takes full advantage of Google apps and services. In other words, if MiOS is released, it will not be a necessity, it will be a matter of preference.

It is said that Xiaomi will keep the operating system limited to China.
