RTX 4070 Ti and RX 7900 XT stand out in the new generation
According to data compiled by Techeiphipany from German retailer Mindfactory, we see that the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti sold 280 units, the Radeon RX 7900 XTX only sold 120 units, and the RX 7900 XT sold 100 units. The RTX 4070 Ti can be seen selling for more than double the RX 7900 XT at the retailer. However, the RTX 4090 sold 90 units, while the RTX 4080 sold only 70 units.
According to the grand total of sales figures, it is seen that the RX 7900 XT has surpassed the sales of 1865 units and the RTX 4070 Ti’s 1755 units. Here is the full sales list:
- GeForce RTX 4090: 1510 units
- GeForce RTX 4080: 1625 units
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti: 1755 units
- Radeon RX 7900 XTX: 1170 units
- Radeon RX 7900 XT: 1865 units
Of course, these figures do not reflect global sales exactly. However, we can say that consumer behavior is generally similar. On the other hand, it is not surprising that the RTX 4070 Ti made a fast entry despite the fact that it went on sale later than other cards. In the coming periods, the future sales figures will be healthier for comparison. However, Nvidia is expected to launch the RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 Ti cards towards the middle of the year. There are no solid rumors for AMD yet, but we can expect the company to announce something at Computex 2023.
