Integration of new locally produced ammunition and systems into Bayraktar TİHA continues successfully. In this context, the test firing with the Gökçe New Generation Guidance Kit developed by the TÜBİTAK Defense Industry Research and Development Institute (SAGE) was successfully completed.Bayraktar Akıncı TİHA took off from the Bayraktar Akıncı Flight Training and Test Center in Tekirdağ Çorlu to conduct a fire test and hit the target with high precision with the 1000-lb MK-83 (Approximately 455 kilograms) equipped with the Gökçe Guidance Kit under its body. .
The Gökçe Guidance Kit, which engages with high precision to the target that Bayraktar Akıncı marked with a laser from an altitude of 20 thousand feet, was tested for the first time in an unmanned aerial vehicle. Bayraktar TB2 UAV, which took off from Bayraktar TB2 Flight Training and Test Center in Keşan, also viewed the successfully completed firing test.
