Microsoft Xbox has officially announced its Free Play Days calendar today, via its official blog. Accordingly, Microsoft Xbox owners will be able to play Battlefield 2042, Star Renegades and The Sinking City for free on Saturday and Sunday.
Battlefield 2042 has not yet delivered what is expected
As with almost every new game in the series, the last link of the Battlefield series, which was released at the same time as its rival Call of Duty, did not receive very positive feedback from both players and review sites. Faced with the lowest sales figures and grades of recent years, Battlefield 2042 seems to want another chance from the players.
According to the statement made via Microsoft’s official blog, Xbox Liev Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to experience Battlefield 2042 at no additional cost during this weekend. Players who like the production, which can be played until January 10, will be able to take advantage of discounted purchases in 4 different versions, if they decide to purchase the game within these dates.
In addition to Battlefield 2042, Microsoft also offers the science fiction action game Star Renegades and the Lovercraft type open world game The Sinking City to the players. Let’s see if EA Games and DICE can win the hearts of the players with this move, which got a great reaction by removing the Rush mode, which is very popular with the fans, from the game last week.
