Metaverse steps continue to come from giant companies. The last of these was the banking giant HSBC. The company has partnered with popular metaverse project The Sandbox. The company has purchased a virtual land from the project, according to a blog post published Wednesday by The Sandbox.
Suresh Balaji, HSBC’s marketing manager for the Asia-Pacific region, said:
“At HSBC, we create opportunities for our current and future customers and the communities we serve. We see great potential to open up the world and create new experiences through emerging platforms.”
Other companies that have stepped into The Sandbox include Gucci, Warner Music Group and Ubisoft.
